This is the best electric smoker I have ever bought. Perfect temperature and perfect smoke. This will take your cooking to the next level. It's a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. I love this thing!!!
I looked at many reviews on this and had mixed feelings. All was for naughty. This this is awesome. I saw no temp swings at all and the food has always come out great. If the directions are followed on startup and follow on uses, it'll last you a very long time. I highly recommend this for easy smoking or even grilling
This smoker works well. It offers great features for a modest price. I purchased a floor model so it was already preassembled, so I can't comment on ease of assembly. The initial burn-off was easy. Prep and cleanup are easy. The operation and results are comparable to higher-priced vertical smokers. Ribs, tri-tips, briskets and chicken all turn out perfectly.
This smoker will make you the talk of the dinner table. I am on day 20 of this smoker and everything comes out tasting amazing. I love the app that allows me to walk away and do other things while being able to monitor the temps from the probes. My only compliants of this smoker; I wish the pellet door on the back side was bigger to allow eaiser cleaning and removing of all unused pellets.
Bought this smoker to process our dozens of Alaskan salmon - it works great! For the negative reviews, I don’t know if they somehow received a ‘lemon’ (less likely but still happens across all manufacturers, brands) or are inexperienced with pellet smokers. Ours sat on our deck, in its box for almost NINE months (thru an entire brutal Alaskan winter Nov-March), before we got it set up to start processing our chest freezer full of sockeye fillets. Smoked a dozen sockeye so far, absolute perfect!
This is truly a set and forget smoker. Load with pellets set the timer sit back and wait for the delicious food to be cooked. This is the easiest smoker I've ever used. No more having to replenish smoker chips. I was a bit apprehensive at pallets at first but this has one me over.
This is my first smoker. I have done 2 beer can chickens, beef jerky, tri-tip. I love this smoker. Super easy to use as well as the app. Easy to setup. It did throw up an over temp code, but I think that was my doing. I started the shutdown process then tried to start it again a few minutes later. I wanted a vertical smoker because I already have a bbq grill. Definitely recommend this smoker
I was going to buy a pit boss until this thing came out. For same price you get more cooking space and way more features. My first cook I did ribs and it held a very steady 225 the whole 5 hour cook without much fluctuations. This is a huge upgrade from my small 7 year old treager. Temp inside cabinet is consistent throughout and having that water pan helps that. I heard bad things about the app but I have 0 issues with it myself. For the price this thing is great. Plus a 5 year Warranty!
Easy enough to put together. Start up takes some patience as I think it needed some time to update or adjust. At first it could not keep a temperature. Set it at 300 and it was all over the place. Too hot, too low, anything but 300. I turned it off and let it sit and cool off. Myself included. Then I came back and set it again at 300. It went to 328 and then back down to 282 and then it quickly settled in at 300 and stayed within 5 degrees the entire time. App is easy to use I’m keeping it!
